I’m not sure whether it’s cruel or not but I have had my first dog for 10 years now. He is a chihuahua and I never used crates because I don’t feel it’s needed. When I went to work I got a walker to take him for half day to continue routine and socialise. It does take time and I believe crates are not needed and I don’t like the thought of them.
