We were shocked and mortified. W still don’t know how to deal with it. Today she called me, all smiles, and asked me if I’m coming in July. I said no, because I’m going to a resort abroad for a few weeks while my husband is away. My dogs don’t get stockings because I honestly wouldn’t know what small enough things to put in it. My dogs aren’t small at all. Only us humans get stockings. I no longer look forward to gardening out in my yard in the least as all i can do is feel like someone (her for one) is watching me not wanting me to be there. God dont like ugly, old lady who lives next door, and that was some xmas BUNK you really could’ve just kept for yourself.

It took one year to complete this fiber piece. It’s a large embellished needlepoint and is Official Goth Milk shirt hoodie, sweater Shirtd “ Death of Venus.” It’s difficult to see, but every inch contains glass beads, seed beads, sea pearls, bugle beads, sea shells, and metal beads surrounding an array of mostly vintage jewelry parts and found objects. The yarn is a mixture of contemporary and vintage yarn. The piece was created for a juried craft art show on “Dia de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead). The show was juried by the assistant curator of the Salvadore Dali Museum. I’m proud to say I won Best of Show. The story behind the art: The name of the piece, “The Death of Venus”, is a play off of Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus”.
