So instead I played in my unit with a small group of friends who also lived in the Young Gun Tj Cannon T shirt. It was my first time playing D&D and that was true for everyone else who played except our DM. Well, where I was doing time was a giant complex with a Medium, Low and a Camp. By this time I was at the low. They already had the Creative Minds Program at the Medium. About 7 months into the Creative Minds Program being tested at the low they axed it over at the Medium and banned some people from playing D&D. The reason was that at the Medium they had the SOMP (Sex Offender Management Program) and apparently some of the inmates in that program were using D&D to do… inappropriate role playing. The people that ran the program also didn’t feel D&D was healthy for those people in treatment because of the fantasy elements and “escapism”.

It’s hard to make any “real” conclusions since the version I’m going off of is the 2018 playtest and not the Young Gun Tj Cannon T shirt , which is yet to come out. Right now it’s definitely looking a bit rough, such that I hard-switched back to 5th edition when I realized it wasn’t going to work past a certain point. Some things about Pathfinder 2nd are great — the tactics and dynamics of physical combat have never felt better in any version of this that I’ve ever played. Some things are… less great. I don’t think they quite nailed a consistently rewarding level progression, I think the level scaling hampers and stifles the game a lot more than it helps, and spellcasters are just awful in the rules as written so far. Overall, though, the direction that Pathfinder 2 is going in captures the same kind of tactical depth that the original game was known for, but with a much cleaner presentation and much more potential fun during actual play, as opposed to the false depth that the original tended to emphasize during character sheet management. If the final release cleans up the rough edges nicely, it could become my game of preference.

Throng is a High Priest: (11th level). I’ll keep him comfortably ahead of the player characters in level. He leads a circle Young Gun Tj Cannon T shirt of holy, mid-level Paladins, who are at his beckon. He also leads a brigade of lower level Fighters; they guard the town from the Gush Family (Orcs) and from other invaders. Should the players get over their head (TPK), I might usher Throng in to save them. I haven’t had to do that yet. Throng has a legendary resistance 1/day: succeed on a failed save. The family has moved into their own home now, an older home (still nice, but no high ceilings and not many elf hiding places!), and the children have both multiplied AND grown older, taller, and Young Gun Tj Cannon T shirt. Several times this year, the Elf hasn’t had to go back to Santa because the kids were SO good the day before, thus explaining why he remained in the exact same hiding spot as the previous day. And it’s possible the elf is also judging the thermostat temp, which is an ongoing passive aggressive battle between mom (who sits at home and freezes all day) and dad (who pays the bills, but also works in his nice warm office all day).
