I was hoping Delores wouldn’t become a Utah State Aggies Grinch Ugly Christmas Sweater aggressive rooster, as my recently deceased “Lance” had been, before passing on to “rooster heaven” with the assistance of a local coyote. The rooster I currently had, Gordon, was a sweet boy and was very happy to have Lance gone. Lance had been a fierce rooster who attacked literally every moving thing but the hens and me (displaying extreme good taste and discretion) and I was not prepared to live through as second several years of yet another “attack rooster”. Neither were the neighbor dogs. Nor were the neighbors, for that matter. I really didn’t think this would be a problem, as Delores was such a sweet rooster – showing no violence or aggression at all, and just wanted to sit on my shoulder (rather like a parrot) and look around. He’d snuggle against anyone’s neck or in anyone’s lap who would hold him and he adored being petted. Delores ran around digging for bugs in the lawn – but was just as happy sitting by the kitchen sink watching me trim vegetables or whatever. He made (as all my chickens did) a truce with the cats and was friends with the goats, horses and my other rooster, Gordon. They all slept together in the barn at night.

I’m just saying, you scuttle your defense purposely, because it’s the same mistakes over and over. You constantly overpay for offensive talent, and that’s not how you build a Utah State Aggies Grinch Ugly Christmas Sweater. Is it my opinion? No it’s Belichick’s opinion. Go study Belichicks’ teams, there ain’t no first round pick wide receiver, in fact he’s never drafted one. There ain’t no $10MM a year running back. Falcon fans want to believe their starting quarterback who can’t drop back five steps is amazing, ask yourself this: why is there so much offensive talent around him? It doesn’t cross your mind if he’s that good it’d be better to have more talent on defense? No, because you’re not very knowledgeable are you. And thusly, you keep having mediocre seasons. Last year the team was 3rd in the division. This season, flat out horrible, finished 7–9 and probably should have fired the head coach for losing out on a high pick. A brutish untalented defense because once again the offense is loaded. I’m telling you, next season this team is skydiving at 5–11.

No! It’s much too early for Utah State Aggies Grinch Ugly Christmas Sweater . I want to enjoy this fall (although it seems that fall has decided not to visit us this year) and each holiday as it comes. One year, ages ago, I put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend and by the time Christmas came around, all the decorations were dusty and I was sick of looking at it..lol. That was a good lesson. Christmas, for me, is sparkling snow, pine trees (not maples turning gold and red) and a very special time, especially if you have family (cherish them because some day they will be gone). It’s a time of selflessness and love and that “Christmas spirit” which is incredible which takes hold of you.
