I have been banned from reddit groups when I was saying something perfectly innocent but it was taken in the wrong way. An example (please don’t ban me), “I sometimes wish my whole generation would just die off”. I did not mean that I wanted to have these people exterminated. They can consider anything as hate speech. If I say ”f*ck trudeau and his stupid new law” that can be considered hate speech. This is exactly what is happening in China. This is ridiculous. The worst is imagine actually going to jail for this and sharing a jail cell with a child rapist. Imagine being in 50,000$ debt because you complained about the government. Absolutely insane.Well, they need to stop treating minorities as some “other” when they seek to lift them up. They are fully capable human beings and seeing them as something else only leads to them being treated as pets or pet causes and not people.

Canada spelt out what their hate-speech definitions were a while ago, something that anyone with 15min on their hands and reasonably competent Google-fu can educate themselves about.That said, I’m not accusing you of having done or not done this; this is more of a generalized gripe about Reddit-posters.As for a judgement on if you were banned unfairly, you’d have to post them and submit yourself to the court of public opinion.
