Your comment is so dishonest that I don’t know even where to start… I’m a critic of free-trade being sold as the Trump old no 45 brand United States president shirt  to under-developed countries when their newborn industries can’t compete with giant multi-nationals (which are, generally, protected by their countries’ governments, capital has nationality), which is totally different from forbidding almost every company in the world from trading with a poor country, depriving it of the most elementary inputs to its economy.Let me put this as simply as possible. There’s a massive difference between free/fair trade policies. and “no trade at all” policies. Conflating the two is either disingenuous or just plain dumb.As I said, it’s very naive to believe that the concerns of the main Saudi Arabia military ally on Cuba are Human Rights and Civil Freedoms. And think how hard it is to conciliate democracy and sovereignty when the world’s greatest superpower, which is also your neighbor, wants to keep you In a collar.
