And I (mostly) only read non-fiction because I always felt like I was having to catch up Also, I generally don’t like going to class since I generally don’t get much out of it (I have ADD), so I often skipped class and read all these interesting books while I was absent from class. When I didn’t skip class and zoned out during lecture, I’d often just read books during class. That being said, the time I spent on books is largely uneven. Sometimes, I can stare at a few pages, but then finish the rest of the book in the fraction of time it originally took. It’s hard to explain this, but I’ll give a quote from a wonderful book I read about ADD (it’s called Driven by Distraction).

Well, nothing happened. At least that’s what we thought. From the time I was born a title , except for a brief time I had orange or green hair, I’ve pretty much always been some shade of blonde. In 1986 I had to lose a lot of length and stop using drug store color, but I managed to recover and find great professional hair colorists who keep my hair beautifully highlighted and low lighted without minimal damage. I love being some version of a blonde and will probably be blonde in some capacity until the day I leave this planet. I’ve just always felt more comfortable as a blonde than any other color, even a dark blonde. Of course that’’s just me and my own preference for my own hair. I think all colors of hair are gorgeous when created properly. I also believe everyone should select the color of hair they enjoy most and then flaunt it.

Schools are all wrong anyways. State Standardized testing is a Tom Brady 8 Bit Shirtand so is much of the American public school system. School should be about finding your talents, harnessing them and focusing your interests not just a blanket fucking “Here you go here’s some shit you’ll only ever use in very specific circumstances. I mean for gods sake they don’t even teach you how to do your taxes! Sure they teach you what they are and why they’re necessary but damn it all school does is make you realize how much better or worse it is in other places and other times. Star Wars and Halo teach you Commitment, bravery, Honour and Sacrifice. School is important but second important to those two.
