You reduce demand (immigration, banning foreign ownership) and increase supply (rezoning, expedited permitting, land value tax, direct building, enforced vacancy tax).It is deliberately NOT being fixed because most voters and politicians are homeowners. NIMBYism is a cancer and it is killing this country. Given the complete unwillingness of governments at all levels to increase supply, the federal government should cut immigration to a small fraction of what it is now to help balance the market. Failure by the government, but really a failure of the Canadian public and our democracy in general.

Yeah, the whole notion of trying to prove you don’t get scared when watching a movie meant to scare automatically makes me hate someone. Like The Walking Dead 11th anniversary 2010 2021 signatures shirt, you didn’t suspend disbelief enough while watching a scary movie so you didn’t get scared? I hate those people. I literally hate them. It’s like someone turning on Dumb and Dumber, crossing their arms and frowning throughout the whole movie just so they can say they didn’t laugh once at a comedy.It could be a lack of imagination. I love horror movies but it takes a special type of horror to scare me. It has to be interesting and realistic enough to get my attention. Most scary movies lack depth. But thats what makes it scary! I would much rather watch a scary movie where its unnerving and eerie. Not just a film that has a couple of jump scares and a corny plot.This is probably my why I like thriller horror/mystery horror the most. Truth is, most will attempt to make a good scary movie, only to create a laughable and cringey horror film.Then there’s some people who despise scary movies does that mean they have a good imagination or they just don’t know what scary is? I like to think its both.

I’ve The Walking Dead 11th anniversary 2010 2021 signatures shirt at horror movies that miss the mark, but I don’t think that’s a criticism of me so much as the movie. Like Insidious, when you see the red demon dude, the big reveal just feels so silly it was hard to take seriously and I’ll confess that I laughed. I’d say the same with Sinister, a really solid tense and atmospheric movie till they do the “big reveal” of the bad guy and he’s a jump scare that just looks fucking stupid.Feel free to hate people who laugh at horror movies but you gotta admit some of these films definitely set us up to fail.
