This evolved an interesting story with a lot of cool scifi ideas, but the experience of the dream was of being in a live situation where I had to manipulate time directly, and then move an area into the past and let it run forward. I had tools and a smart robot who could also manipulate time and calculate different probable outcomes of modifying the past.

We should be striving to make the country the best we can make it, not the biggest.

They forget how hard it is to learn something new. If they say “I already know that.” I remind them “You may already know that but that doesn’t mean everybody else does. be patient. I guaranty before the class is over I will teach something you don’t know.
A lot of people prefer rural settings and lifestyles too.
