Let me get this straight, my Stitch Stitch Avengers shirt is very well loved. I researched dog food brands for almost a week to make sure I made the right choice. He gets to go swimming, on walks, to every park in town (dog park and otherwise). He’s been to four states with me and before he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia he hiked in three states. I bake homemade dog treats so that he isn’t exposed to possible toxic components. He gets a new toy about every week. I cut his nails at home because it’s safer to have him laying down than to put undue pressure on his hip not to mention he’s far less anxious at home. I even made him an orthopedic bed out of a high quality twin sized foam piece so that his hip was properly supported with true human grade memory foam.
Stitch Stitch Avengers shirt is fixable. You reduce demand (immigration, banning foreign ownership) and increase supply (rezoning, expedited permitting, land value tax, direct building, enforced vacancy tax).It is deliberately NOT being fixed because most voters and politicians are homeowners. NIMBYism is a cancer and it is killing this country. Given the complete unwillingness of governments at all levels to increase supply, the federal government should cut immigration to a small fraction of what it is now to help balance the market. Failure by the government, but really a failure of the Canadian public and our democracy in general.

When I was teaching in California I was teaching night classes I had Stitch Stitch Avengers shirt from 14 year olds to his 80 year old grandmother. the older students would tell me “I don’t care if you flunk me, just teach me something.” those people NEVER flunk they had enough experience that they know how to study. I ran into the same experience when I was pursuing my second Masters Degree, I was totally confused by my first class to the point that I went up to the teacher and said “I am totally confused. Should I drop the class?” He told me “no. You will eventually pick it up.” and I did. One of the things I would tell my students is the only stupid question is the one that is not asked. They forget how hard it is to learn something new. If they say “I already know that.” I remind them “You may already know that but that doesn’t mean everybody else does. be patient. I guaranty before the class is over I will teach something you don’t know.
I’d go further and just Stitch Stitch Avengers shirt  ban ownership by non-citizens, the Nordics do it and I don’t see why we shouldn’t either.The typical counter argument is that those people will just use companies to buy property instead but imo that’s nonsense. It may be true for some individuals but the purpose of this rule isn’t to be a panacea, the majority of foreign buyers either won’t have the time or money to make a corp to buy a house. They’ll instead spend that time buying a house in Aus or somewhere else.
