I have, the first time I made a Stephen Curry OK Fine poster shirt. The first time the party heard about it, they had just come back into the world after having been in an alternate dimension for 3 years (though only about a month passed for them). The first city they went to had an abnormally high number of soldiers, seemingly prepared for anything. The reason why is because 6 months earlier, the closest nearby major city was literally leveled with zero survivors. No one really knew what did it, but evidence suggested that an utterly massive creature was involved, assisted by countless other violent animals and some number of magic users.

It’s hard to make any “real” conclusions since the version I’m going off of is the 2018 playtest and not the Stephen Curry OK Fine poster shirt , which is yet to come out. Right now it’s definitely looking a bit rough, such that I hard-switched back to 5th edition when I realized it wasn’t going to work past a certain point. Some things about Pathfinder 2nd are great — the tactics and dynamics of physical combat have never felt better in any version of this that I’ve ever played. Some things are… less great. I don’t think they quite nailed a consistently rewarding level progression, I think the level scaling hampers and stifles the game a lot more than it helps, and spellcasters are just awful in the rules as written so far. Overall, though, the direction that Pathfinder 2 is going in captures the same kind of tactical depth that the original game was known for, but with a much cleaner presentation and much more potential fun during actual play, as opposed to the false depth that the original tended to emphasize during character sheet management. If the final release cleans up the rough edges nicely, it could become my game of preference.

Have them go on adventures trying to raise allies. Have them search out monsters that can maybe be tricked into fighting the tarrasque for them. Only after an extended period of Stephen Curry OK Fine poster shirt should they even try to go head to head with the beast. Second, wherever they are facing the tarrasque head-on, put a time limit on the encounter. It’s almost embarrassingly easy for a high level party to slowly kill the tarrasque. Use flight, or fast movement, to stay out of range, then slowly wear it down. So make sure the PCs have to finish it off in a hurry. Maybe it’s going to devour something important. Maybe it’s going to break open a portal to the planet of the tarrasques, unleashing thousands of the beasts. Or maybe it’s just going to escape into one of its burrows.

The family has moved into their own home now, an older home (still nice, but no high ceilings and not many elf hiding places!), and the children have both multiplied AND grown older, taller, and Stephen Curry OK Fine poster shirt.
