I wouldn’t rate it as brilliant, and this wasn’t at a Skeleton Welcome To TBA Shirt comedy venue. This was at a 90s era tech conference, so strap on your nerd hat for this one. However one guy continued interrupting me and making comments with, in my opinion at least, somewhat waning cleverness. Since this was a professional tech conference, and I knew who he was, I was patient and let his table mates reel him in. I also mentally thanked him for volunteering to be my straight man for the next part of the schtick that had very impromptu come to my mind.
