Unless his death was the result of gross-negligence, and saying the above it would have to be that someone basically intentionally shot him; why even lie at the squad level all the way up the chain? Especially knowing that since it’s Pat Fucking Tillman then there’s going to more than likely be another few sets of eyes looking into the circumstances. Also, Tillman was a DEVOUT atheist. Family included. They went ape-shit when someone tried to pepper all kinds of god talk at his services. Pat Tillman is a hero and a damned fine example to follow. I don’t necessarily mean by the decisions he made, but absolutely for the conviction he stood for in his beliefs. Rest In Piece to that guy. Much Respect!

As this was the first year the Titans had established a real identity in Nashville (and the first year I became a fan) this set VERY high expectations that were almost impossible to reach.
