We had just moved into our ‘dream RIP Sean Lock Death 1963 2021 Classic t hoodie, tank top, sweater’, which was big and I was standing in the ‘courtyard’ admiring the stars. I had just adopted my my 5th rescue dog, because I had the room and yard and dogs are my passion: 2 Boxers, 2 GDanes and an old smart Shepherd mix – with free run of the house and this courtyard. Suddenly, a beautiful Orange Tabby landed on the courtyard wall. I was stunned…did the Tom not know there were very large and smart dogs in this house? The weirdest part is, I went to pet him (I assumed he was a He because all Orange Tabbys are male.) and he jumped off the ledge, straight into my arms, with the loudest purr. I don’t wholly disagree, but I think the RIP Sean Lock Death 1963 2021 Classic t hoodie, tank top, sweater  to upzone low density suburbia is a much larger concern to us.The reason our infrastructure cannot support more people is that we have continually built low density suburbs that do not collect enough in municipal taxes to pay for their own maintenance. If we invested in building dense walkable cities then we would actually be able to pay for good infrastructure and transit.If we could upzone low density suburbia we could massively and quickly increase housing supply.Also, I don’t mean allowing developers to put a 20-40 story condo in the middle of a neighborhood full of detached houses. That totally sucks, but neighborhoods with detached houses should be allowed to build duplexes and triplexes, neighborhoods with duplexes and triplexes should be allowed 3-4 story walkup apartments, and so on.

If we looked at Canada’s housing market from a macroeconomic standpoint, it is absolutely impossible for housing prices to pull back even 20-30%. Why? Because it would devastate the Canadian economy and absolutely destroy our way of life.So what can we actually hope to see?
