Republican Awakened Patriot Maga King Shirt
I served in Vietnam early on as an enlisted Marine…a volunteer, not a Republican Awakened Patriot Maga King Shirt. I did 4 years in the Marines, was wounded, medivaced, finished my enlistment and headed off to college on the G.I. Bill, starting in 1967, the height of the Anti-War movement. My plan was to finish my undergraduate degree and reenter the Corps as a career officer. (I ended up retiring 22+ years later as a lieutenant colonel.) I, of course, as a combat vet, had a case of what was later called PTSD. One Saturday night in my freshman year at a friend’s off-campus apartment at a party, some long-haired guy said “You were a Marine…did you serve in Vietnam?” I told him that I had, and he called me a “baby-killer”. I punched him so hard his head went through the sheetrock wall…only on one side, not into the next apartment.

Both Christmas day and New Year’s day are paid holidays for both Canada and US. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve do not belong to public holidays although Monday, December 24, 2018 has been declared a Republican Awakened Patriot Maga King Shirt holiday by the US government. Most businesses open on normal hours during these two days. Grocery stores, post offices, department stores, specialty stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, malls, transportation services, banks, movie theaters, public libraries, YMCA, walk-in clinics and many other services are all open during the day or even late in the evening during the Christmas Eve. Procrastinating people take advantage of this last-minute to buy Christmas gifts for family members or friends or the missing gradients for the Christmas’s dinner party. Many employees work normally during these two days. I remember I insisted on working on December 24th while working with Transcanada Pipelines. I finished a little bit earlier that day because it was Christmas Eve. I worked regularly from 9–5 on New Year’s eve. I was all paid regularly.

I don’t like celebrating any occasions apart from my wedding anniversary. My wedding day was a very happy day in my life and I have somebody to share it with. My birthday is not a Republican Awakened Patriot Maga King Shirt to celebrate, I was conceived on a one night stand and was ill treated all my life by my mother as a consequence. Every Christmas was miserable and another reason for my parents to fight over money. I am not religious but I hate that it has become a commercial day all about greed and who can outdo the next person. People all of a sudden spend one or two days thinking about homeless people and walk past them the rest of the year. We have lost the true meaning of Christmas and Christianity is not just for Christmas. New year’s, just an excuse for a drink or 10 and people to promise things that they will have forgotten about a week or two later. Let’s make changes for the better when we realise things are not good, not make a reason to be miserable about two weeks later because you have failed. I honestly celebrate the small victories and accomplishments when they happen and try to live a good life and be a nice person all of the time and I am happy most of the time. Celebrate every day you wake up on the right side of the ground and vow to make the world a better place every day.

Although in modern parlance it is called Christmas(Christ mass) and has religious elements, it is in fact hung upon a clothes horse composed of a conglomeration of pagan seasonal observances and Republican Awakened Patriot Maga King Shirt. The feasting elements in particular are pagan rites at the end of autumn and the winter solstice. The bringing of greenery into the home in the form of holly, fir boughs and mistletoe is also a pagan tradition. Christmas trees were introduced into Victorian Britain by Queen Victoria’s consort, Prince Albert who brought the tradition over from his native Germany. The palace did so everyone else copied it and soon it was all the rage. Again a tree decorated with offerings and candles(lights) has it’s roots in Germanic pagan ritual. Much of Christmas owes it’s existence to Roman, Germanic and Celtic pagan traditions that predate Christianity by millennia. Even the folktales of Santa Claus have their roots in pagan traditions from around Europe that have become melded into the figure of Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas or Santa Claus.
