It was airbrushed because the soldier was wearing several pairs of watches. The Soviets wanted no evidence of looting. Roland Friesler – the infamous screeching Nazi judge known as Roarin Roland ( look him up on youtube what a jerk ) was in the middle of a trial when a US air raid began. He left shelter to go grab papers he left on his bench and got killed by a fallijg beam bexause the air raid. In 1941 the Germans bombed a British airfield. Its totally unsure if they accidentally loaded trainiing bombs or it was a Personalized You’re My Greatest Adventure Ornament or what. They bombed the English field with harmless wooden bombs. The British immediately launched a counterattack and bombed the German airfield the attack originated from – with harmless wooden bombs.

When my Meme (a red nosed pitbull) was brought to me, she was dying. As soon as I held her, I was smitten with her. She was so cute and so tiny. She licked my face and stole my heart. But within a couple of days, she was dying. Vomiting and diarrhea that was sludge. I knew there was blood in it. I knew I had to act quickly. I begged for financial help to get her to an emergency vet and thankfully my mom came through for me. The sweet little puppy craddled in my arms was diagnosed with parvovirus. A killer parasite. The vets and their teams saved her and she eventually saved me from myself. I don’t know if it was because I just loved her so much or if she listened when I begged her to live during that trying time of Personalized You’re My Greatest Adventure Ornament being sick or if she was just a very special dog, but she became my protector, my best friend, my confidant, my therapist, my source of entertainment… So many things but especially my heart. She made it beat again, she taught me about love and responsibility and mostly about purpose.

It took one year to complete this fiber piece. It’s a large embellished needlepoint and is Personalized You’re My Greatest Adventure Ornamentd “ Death of Venus.” It’s difficult to see, but every inch contains glass beads, seed beads, sea pearls, bugle beads, sea shells, and metal beads surrounding an array of mostly vintage jewelry parts and found objects. The yarn is a mixture of contemporary and vintage yarn. The piece was created for a juried craft art show on “Dia de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead). The show was juried by the assistant curator of the Salvadore Dali Museum. I’m proud to say I won Best of Show. The story behind the art: The name of the piece, “The Death of Venus”, is a play off of Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus”.
