My funny story is when Santa put himself on the naughty list. It used to be a festival only for Chinese people living there to celebrate the lunar new year, but now it became an event for the whole Nagasaki city for people to enjoy the Chinese culture.

Overall, though, Christmas decorations tend to look like they’re from the northern hemisphere, since a lot of our “Christmas cues” come from that part of the world, regardless of how warm the day itself may actually be.
