In all these years, I found what I suspected to be true. There was never again a lover in my life who made me feel what he made me feel. Nieve Mexicana. This was an astonishing discovery, because Nieve Mexicana (literally, ‘Mexican snow’) is the same thing as the Sicilian granita.
