Man Singer Special Adam Lambert shirt
A bigger part of the problem is that a lot of DMs just can’t separate their real world sense of Man Singer Special Adam Lambert shirt and ethics with the campaign they are running. They are running Abeir Toril or Oerth, which are savage fantasy settings full of monsters, bandits, evil wizards, and other undesirables, but going into it with the sweet sensibilities of a 21st century teenager who grew up in the suburbs and every neighbor said “hello how are you?” and girlscouts go around selling cookies. And this is just hilarious. Get into the setting and drop your real world commonsense at the door. If adventurers want to go around killing monsters, looting gold and stealing magic items, why punish them for it? Because it goes against your sense of right and wrong? Come on. We’re playing a game of fantasy pretend and make-believe. We’re here to indulge our deepest and maybe darkest fantasies. Why so serious?

However ; I googled it, it was a Man Singer Special Adam Lambert shirt, I called police and informed them about the incident, they came by and were so excited to see an owl in real life, the owl sat right by my side while I kissed it,( the owl’s motion was so slow and you could tell it was feeling dizzy and confused from the accident) I petted and kissed it not knowing that owls are wild and can be dangerous. However the cops took some pictures and we all had a fun time with the bird. They handed me some information about animal control and stuff before they left. I called a few times, i never received any response, so I ended up caring for the animal myself, I took care of the bird for 3 more days, each morning when I was driving to work I would roll down the window to let it fly, it wouldn’t, the third day I stopped in the middle of the wood as part of my driveway, and asked it to go back home, it sat on the window frame, turned its face to me , kept staring at me for almost 20 minutes, a long time, then flew out , sat on the ground then again flew back in the car, I cried, I cried so hard as I was so emotional for all the things that was happening, then I started talking to it, I sound crazy but I felt the connection, we had built a very strong bond, I think we sensed each other’s emotions, i could feel that the owl was very much into the love I had for him, however I talked it over, the same way I could possibly talk to my own child if I had one. and the owl finally flew away , sat on the branch and stared at me until I drove away, I was crying until I got to work.

You’re going to want to establish motives for the encounter too. Mind Flayers should not be your run of the Man Singer Special Adam Lambert shirt, who took over a kobold or goblin tribe, and now has them raid the countryside for gold (actually, NONE of your villains should be such a tired trope, but I digress). Instead, they’re looking for something special. Maybe they’ve come looking for some sort of eldritch item that could be unfathomably dangerous. Maybe they want to fascistically enslave a city and set up their domain beneath it, creating a new elder-brain there. Maybe they’re literally demanding the planet’s oceans to save their dying homeworld. Maybe they want to put a nation’s inhabitants to sleep forever, using them as a vast mental power source. Maybe they want to perform macabre experiments on humanity. Think big here.

If you ever have the Man Singer Special Adam Lambert shirt of having to listen to one of those insipid “light rock” radio stations, you hear an endless stream of songs that sound laughably dated in their production style (not to mention those tired and crappy songs). But when I start to hear similar production on new music from artists who are supposedly on the cutting edge, then I can help but wonder what the hell is going on. Because I must admit, I can’t quite figure out where the intention lies with a lot of new indie music I hear. Are these styles being reproduced out of homage to some of the music with which these artists have grown up? Or is this some sort of hipster ironic take on what’s cheesy? Put clearly, they must be doing something right. These artists are garnering more airplay than I currently am getting, and acquiring lots of new fans in the process. And what does that say about us (collectively) as an audience? Do we naturally gravitate toward something that sounds familiar, even if it’s crap? Or are we just being lazy…not wanting to be challenged by anything that’s really new? Frankly, I don’t think that’s the case, because I have to believe that real music lovers aren’t nearly that lazy. But that still doesn’t explain why some of the more regrettable elements of 80’s music are making their way back into new indie rock.
