He had a ton of friends over destroying the house? You yourself said he is a good kid. Imo, as a mom of 2, i would like to hope that my dang near 14yo could watch a baby that spends 90% of his day sleeping until another grown-up could drop by and take over. He had the baby for 4 hours and last i checked, 2mos tend to nap in bursts of 1-2 hours. So at most the baby was just sleeping For most of it, maybe pooped a bit and ate. And spent his next 1-2 hour awake allotment being entertained by baby toys, and baby youtube videos

I’m gen-x and my grandpa was born in 1909. We were white and poor (by most standards, though we always had what we needed) and living a Liam Payne If You Ever Feel Alone Don’t Shirt, with zero diversity during this time. I really credit that particular conversation with him as the catalyst that made me think of other people before forming an opinion on things, regardless of whether I’m directly affected by their situations or not. My grandpa was awesome. This was a man who farmed and did other manual labor all his life (literally into his 70s) to put food on the table and pay bills. Neither he nor my grandma graduated school (I believe he went til the 8th grade and my grandma until the 3rd when she had to quit to help her family raise her younger siblings…imagine that for a second….8 years old). They were two of the best people I’ve ever known. How is it that someone who was born in 1909 and racially isolated his whole life had a more accurate viewpoint of US history than the people who are pushing this bullshit?
