This is great information! I work in a jail that is literally falling apart. You’d try to make things better even when you still can’t understand their thought process because you don’t want to be the kind of person who hurts their friends. Maybe later you’d grow respect for them for being so vulnerable in front of you and being brave enough to share that with you.
