Our very dear friends, husband and wife, are in the last stages of pancreatic cancer. The Jim Beam Christmas Ugly Christmas Sweater was sick way earlier and has gone thru multiple “cures” to the extent of going to South America for treatments. The wife was not diagnosed until stage four. They have excellent doctors, who have tried every test they could possibly try so I don’t understand why they didn’t catch the wife’s cancer sooner. But, that being said, it looks like even if they had, it wouldn’t have made any difference because they are both dying of it at the same time and would not have been able to cure her either. You would think by now they would at least be able to diagnose pancreatic cancer since they are very aware of it killing without realizing a person has it. I hope, by us posting these comments about this particular cancer here, people will be more aware of this killer and catch the cancer before it’s too late.

Yes it is and there is a reason for that. As of 2019 Mariah Carey has made over 60 million dollars off of that Jim Beam Christmas Ugly Christmas Sweater. None of her other songs have made that kind of money but the reason is simple. Every year around Christmas time the song is re-released and continues to sell. Consider the fact that the song was released in 1994 so it has been on the charts every year for the past 25 years so is it any wonder that it is her biggest hit? That is the thing about Christmas songs, every year they have a chance to chart again. No regular release has as many chances to make money and sell records like a Christmas song does. Paul McCartney makes over $400,000 a Jim Beam Christmas Ugly Christmas Sweater  from Wonderful Christmas song so it is one of his best selling songs ever and has also made him millions of dollars, although nowhere near to what Mariah has made for her song. Perhaps it holds up so well because it sounds like it was written in an older era, giving the illusion that it’s been popular for a very long time. There are quite a few Christmas pop songs from the mid 20th century that I only became aware of when I was in my 20s. I think it is obvious that i really love Christmas and Christmas decorating. Each year i did about 4 pages of what we did for Christmas, and where we went, and what ornaments we bought that year. (All ornaments have a date added to them.) Ah, well, the plans and dreams we have, and then the reality of how things turn out.
