Well, many people watch college football. And the media are either horrible at their jobs or just content to bait people into false narratives for cash. I probably lean toward the latter. Anyway, I’ve watched Minnesota and I feel I overestimated them preseason. They have a fat offensive line which outweighs another local team–The Minnesota Vikings. Rotating the Defensive Line players for Penn State will be key to containing the Gophers run game. Shelton is not suspended by the B1G because that’s not within their jurisdiction. HOWEVER, Shelton is suspended by Penn State/Franklin for his unsportsmanlike conduct. The B1G just acknowledged that they think it was a good decision. So, fake news on the B1G suspension. This game will be streaky, back and forth. But Minnesota will not be facing a B1G crossover Patsy like Rutger or Maryland here. Penn State hasn’t lost to a B1G West team since 2015. {Penn State} in a close one which shows that Minnesota isn’t a nobody but still isn’t ready to row that boat to shore.

We as fans don’t know what is going on. Could have been hurt two or three plays earlier and tried to tough it out. Iowa boo’ed players who didn’t come back into the game. They weren’t faking. They were hurt. Iowa fans boo’ed them for it. Overall I like Iowa but that needs to be called what it is, being an ass hole. There is zero positive to boo’ing a player that goes down. If they are faking it they don’t care if you boo and it wont stop them from doing it again. If they aren’t faking and they are hurt you are an ass hole if you boo them. Just don’t do it.

In my original post, I noted that the ACC is trash this year. You’re not going to get an J I M B E A M Beer Lover Gift 3d All Over Printed Ugly Christmas Sweater out of me for that. But since we are looking at PSU, let’s also note that all the good wins, save on a neutral site against Furman, are against other B1G teams. Clearly, there is a self-referential thing going on with the B1G. Perhaps it is because the ACC and Pac 12 are so bad at the bottom. But it seems like the conference is propping up a lot of mid-tier teams that maybe shouldn’t be as close to the middle of the bubble as we think they are.
