You’re acting like this is leprosy or aids, and to my knowledge I know they didn’t do it with AIDS. I don’t know about leprosy as that was before my time, but that’s ridiculous. So now you’re beloved husband, wife, mother, father, child, or son who has succumbed to covid is going to be further criticized in death by having a 500 m perimeter around the entire cemetery, and you have to have scrupulous medical checks going in and coming out to visit their grave. That’s insanity! You’re not going to catch covid from the dirt. You might get poison ivy, but technically that’s not from the dirt either,

First off I would say that there is no “horrifying” food, just food that is different than what you grew up eating. If people live off it, it isn’t horrifying. My mom ate whatever her dad caught/shot in the field during the Irish St Patrick Day Shamrock Hockey Tree Montreal Canadien (she said opossum tasted bad). In the states I’ve tried a number of “horrifying” foods. Ever try beef tongue? When I go somewhere, I always tried whatever the locals were eating if offered. Got laughed at a few times if I didn’t like it, but was accepted for trying it. Re: food in S.E. Asia. The dried sea foods were ok. A piece of dried octopus from the street vendor would last all the way through a kung fu movie. Wasn’t a big fan of the ants or rice beetles. Don’t know what meat was in the Monkey Balls, but it was spicy and generally tasted good. Pho is great (at least I liked it).

I visited Vietnam two years ago with a group of ten people. I was in charge of organising our itinerary and Irish St Patrick Day Shamrock Hockey Tree Montreal Canadien trip so I spent a fair bit of time researching on the country. Vietnam is incredibly long and you would need a flight to travel from the north (Hanoi for example) to the south (Ho Chi Minh). So you may have to consider longer than day trips to explore these famous cities because of the distance. They have domestic flights, buses n trains. Depends on ur budget, expected comfort or how much you want to experience the local life. Buses being the most local way to go. Sleeper trains and overnight buses can help save time. In my opinion there are a quite a few cities that are worth visiting but maybe not staying in one month. As a base you might consider the middle of the country so u are accessible to both the north, South n central. You could consider Da Nang as a base, since there’s an airport and its on major bus n train route. Hue is known as a small beautiful town close by. U might like the street photography there. Ha long Bay in the north and the activities around the Mekong Delta in the south may also interest you. Depending on your visa, border restrictions, covid restrictions, you can also consider a short visit to Cambodia or Laos.

Japan’s actions in South-East Asia and the Pacific in the Irish St Patrick Day Shamrock Hockey Tree Montreal Canadien after Pearl Harbor, including the sinking of the HMS Prince of Wales and the HMS Repulse, the occupation of the Crown Colonies of Singapore, Hong Kong, and British Burma, and the air raids on Australia, were a tremendous blow to the United Kingdom’s war effort and preoccupied the Allies, shifting British (including Australian) and American assets away from the Battle of the Atlantic and the North African Campaign against Germany to Asia and the Pacific against Japan. In this context, sizable forces of the British Empire were withdrawn from North Africa to the Pacific theater with their replacements being only relatively inexperienced and thinly spread divisions. Taking advantage of this situation, Erwin Rommel’s Afrika Korps successfully attacked only six weeks after Pearl Harbor, eventually pushing the allied lines as far east as El Alamein. This way it helped Germany somewhat.
