If You’re Reading This Votto Still Bangs Shirt
After having a If You’re Reading This Votto Still Bangs Shirt yesterday with having to put one of my pets down, I decided to spoil this for myself. Don’t see what all of the bitching is about. The hook is good and the outro solo is probably one of (if not my favorite) John studio solos. This is one of the best tracks from the UL sessions and it’s not even close. It’s like everyone forgets this band is weird. Go listen to the If You’re Reading This Votto Still Bangs Shirt. Weird lyrics. Weird vocal effects. John’s background vocals randomly coming in. It’s seriously like half this sub forgets it’s the Red Hot Chili Peppers haha. I’m not saying people have to like it, but the stuff I see people complain about is stuff they’ve been doing for god knows how long

If You’re Reading This Votto Still Bangs Shirt
This is what’s been truly baffling to me. It’s not just bad writing, it’s (afaik) unprecedented in an MMO. Guild Wars 2, Final Fantasy 14, Warlords of Draenor and Legion… they all have stories that feel more like single-player games about my character, but at least it still feels like it’s about my character in that context. In Warlords, I was the leader of my entire faction’s campaign on Draenor. In Legion, first I was the leader of my entire class, and then later became the commander of the Vindicaar. Sure, it hurts the suspension of disbelief knowing that everyone else was getting that story too; Legion told me that my Tauren Druid was now the leader of all druids, but it also told my friend that his Worgen Druid was the leader of all druids. But at least even there, the story was still about my character. BFA has gone in a completely different direction. It’s one thing for an If You’re Reading This Votto Still Bangs Shirt to treat you like you’re the If You’re Reading This Votto Still Bangs Shirt in the story. But BFA is explicitly saying that my character, canonically, isn’t even present in my own quest line events. It’s fucking wild.
