Hello Lamb shirt

I was an Hello Lamb shirt  so I’ve experienced both outright rejection all the way up to unwanted sexual advances at work from multiple coworkers. And yeah… the former was so much worse. I guess both are dehumanising, but it felt so much worse when it was because I was ugly. My unscientific guess is because we generally don’t like to be rejected by society as a Hello Lamb shirt. I’m personally looking forward to just aging a bit. Like yeah older women get made fun of and become invisible, but I’m alright with the Hello Lamb shirt

Speaking as an XY type.. I was an Hello Lamb shirt teen who wore skirts and makeup and had long hair. I was often mistaken for a Hello Lamb shirt at that age. The first hand experience I gained during that period shaped me for life and is probably the reason I’m a member of this sub today. Catcalls and wandering eyes were common, and if they suddenly realized I was a boy, anger and threats immediately followed. I’ve taken this online challenge in the past and my observation was this… initial engagement with strangers was about the same for me (a troll is a troll, regardless of how I present). What was different was the willingness with a more genuine person to build a bridge where a disagreement exists. Presenting as a man, people seem more willing to “agree to disagree” rather than endless “no, you’re just totally fucking wrong.” Also, my background and expertise is more likely to be accepted if/when stated. No personal experience with that one, per se, but I’ve seen degreeless former friends lecture PhD holding lady friends on my Facebook account before I vacated that site… had to block a Hello Lamb shirt asshole ex co-workers over that nonsense (they wouldn’t back down, even after I let them know the credentials of the woman they were arguing with). My female friends, to their credit, were exhaustively patient with that BS for the Hello Lamb shirt.

I actually did exactly this two years ago! I picked a Hello Lamb shirt  that was a common woman’s name. I subscribed to all the same subreddits that I normally follow (regional and technology subreddits, mostly), and posted using exactly the same voice I normally use. I used it off and on during those two years at a level I would characterize as moderate to heavy. I was never asked if I was male or female, so I never volunteered that information. I found that I got much, much more karma. This account is in the 14-year club, and I am gaining comment karma so much faster in the Hello Lamb shirt. Post karma, too, although I’m not a big poster in either account. On the whole, I would say that I’m treated much better when people see a traditional female username. People are more willing to interact with me, reward my comments, and are less likely to argue with me — even on the extremely technical IT subreddits.
