My time homeless was spent in such rural sections, keeping away from the main cities and mostly on the outskirts of a large town and the nearby smaller villages. (It was the area I’d grown up around, and sticking to familiar territory made living homeless a lot easier than trying to make a go of it in some unknown city, especially when with a car I’d have to pay for parking somehow.) Often I would spend the night parked at a truck stop just off the Guinea Pig Quilt Blanket since it’s one of the few places you can safely sleep in your vehicle without the cops knocking on your windshield for a “wellness check” and threatening to cite you for loitering. (I get the cops are just doing their job, but nope, not something wanted to have happen a second time, especially when Max’s loud barking and attempt to protect me nearly got him shot the first time.) Things can get plenty creepy as well after the sun goes down and the place is filled with parked rigs, occupied by divers in various states of sobriety.
This is your dog. She has a name. Maybe you didn’t want to say her name here for fear of reprisals but she’s a “she” not an “it”. She’s not furniture or a can of beans. Your father made a mistake but should not be compounding that error with cruelty! Stand up for your dog. No animal should ever suffer or die because a human being feels embarassed. Good Grief. That is an appalling attitude and whist I’m sure you love your Dad very much this is a horrible thing to consider doing especially when there’s a good chance you can see the litter safely given away to new homes if you just get organised and ready to get them through the first 2months. You also don’t know how many, if any, pups will survive, and if your dog has problems birthing it’s a particularly cruel thing to do to turf her out. What sort of person is your Dad raising you to be?? This is a chance to teach him to be respectful & compassionate. If you take your dog to a Shelter and force someone else to be kind and Guinea Pig Quilt Blanket look after her and her babies, at least donate them the money you would’ve spent on her for the next 2–3mths. It will help them to look after her. I would also suggest you don’t get another pet.

Without my parents’ dogs around, Lois really blossomed. I lived with a number of Guinea Pig Quilt Blanket over the years, most of them students at the local fine arts school, and they all loved her. She ended up becoming a model, my roommates would paint her, make prints of her, photograph and film her. She loved the attention. Eventually I started to notice she wasn’t eating as much as she used to. Soon it became apparent that it was also difficult for her to breathe. My sister, who was a vet tech at the time, told me she could get Lois checked out for free as long as she claimed she was her cat and I agreed to it. Lois went off to the vet one morning and returned her old self again. Apparently she had a growth in her throat and the vet had drained it. Lois’ breathing returned to normal and she was eating again. About a month later, I noticed she was declining again. I asked my sister to bring her back to the vet and she said she would. I was working overnight shifts at the time so one morning when I got off work I put Lois in her cat carrier and took her with me to my mom’s house. When my sister arrived to take Lois, I didn’t even know she had come. I was busy playing with my nieces. Eventually I turned around and Lois was gone. My mother told me my sister had come and was in a rush so she took Lois without telling me.

Malamutes and Huskys have a lot of wolf blood in them. The Inuit wanted dogs independent enough so that if you tell it to take the sled over unstable ice it will give you the finger. So they would stake out a female in heat, hoping a beta or lower wolf might impregnate her. In the pack, the Alpha male wolf prevents the males from mating, and the Guinea Pig Quilt Blanket Alpha prevents the females. So if a ower ranking wolf sneaks away from the pack and finds a Malamute or Husky bitch in heat, its like their birthday and xmas at the same time. Malamutes are larger then the average wolf, even the Alaskan wolves. Huskies are barely bigger then wolves. Now wolves have higher bite strength then either one. But its really hard to say which is more related to wolves, huskies or malamutes. But they are definitely closer to wolves then the others.
Tucson’s All Souls Procession for Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) is probably what I miss most about living there. It’s about a 2 mile parade from near the UofA on 4th Ave all the way downtown, you get to see so many families dressed up and celebrating their lost loved ones, lots of floats, and Guinea Pig Quilt Blanket culminates in a fire-dancing celebration…with some people on stilts. It doesn’t sound real when I am writing it, but it’s amazing Tucson Meet Yourself is a great festival that showcases local businesses and restaurants downtown. The 4th Avenue Spring and Winter Street Fairs are awesome – like big flea/craft markets as well as good food, all along the coolest avenue in the neighborhood. Jose Guadalupe Posada, a turn of the century Mexican etching master created images for broadsheets and other publications. Jose created skeletons as saterical characters in political cartoons. Jose created the iconic female cálca (skeleton) known as “Catrina”. Catrina was a representative image of the social elite and rich. I believe in the 1970’s a San Francisco arts organization created the North American version of the El dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) celebration and adopted Posada’s Catrina into the art imagery. From there it took off in North America.
