Saturday morning we three guys showed up at theGroom’s Mafia, Groomsmen Gift for Wedding, Bachelor Party T Shirt for opening at nine. By now red wagons and ice chests were not allowed, but our oversized camping backpacks were all stuffed with beer and ice. We drank, we ate, we met ladies and danced, we sang, we drank and ate constantly, meeting ladies every chance we had and dancing to what ever music they were dancing to. We ate, drank and had more fun dancing with women we didn’t know or had just met. We ate and drank until we were full and all the beer was gone. It was hot, we were bloated and woozy and had to sit down. I think this was nearest the blues stage and I guess we all took a nap for a while. We felt somewhat revived but the sun was setting and we had to get to the Superdome to see McCartney. We made it to our seats just in time and it was a good, but not a great concert. The fact that we had seen McCartney is an experience in itself.

It is a major Drow city in the Underdark (Forgotten Realms, Planescape universe, probably the most popular and well-known D&D setting). The Drow are en elven race, somethink that you would describe as a dark elf in its wors sense. Their society is divided into powerful and wealthy houses ruled by the matron mothers – strong matriarchy. The men are considered inferior, as well as other races like dwarves, gnomes and such. Murder, war, deceit and all manner of intrigue are characteristic of their society.

Well I’ve only lived in one ofGroom’s Mafia, Groomsmen Gift for Wedding, Bachelor Party T Shirt cities so I’m not sure. I will say this though any city can be dangerous and any city can be safe…don’t be an idiot, don’t walk around taking pictures of everything you see, don’t walk around with a map in your hands. Have a route planned out if anything put on google maps and put your headphones in and listen to directions that way, if you get lost pop into a restaurant or bar and ask a hostess or bartender. Know your surroundings I mean honestly it’s all about being smart and not making yourself a target. The living conditions are similar to those of any other fair-sized city, except that more of us have air conditioning. Housing conditions range from poor to excellent—minimal housing to mansions, old and new. Historic districts like the French Quarter and the Garden District are probably the most expensive.

It has been tarnished a bit…no, it has been tarnished a lot ofGroom’s Mafia, Groomsmen Gift for Wedding, Bachelor Party T Shirt ! To be honest, I would love to visit my cherished home town; but, I am AFRAID! I never in a million years thought I would ever say those words! I admire all of you who live in New Orleans and are just trying to live your lives in the city you love, trying to raise your children to know right from wrong, to respect life, to have a true moral code. You will all be in my prayers. I dream of one day returning to “The City that Care Forgot”! There’s too much care in the city right now, and nothing is “Easy”…Big or small! God bless New Orleans, and God, please look after her brave inhabitants who choose to stay!!!  Forget Mardi Gras, Sugar Bowl, Super Bowl (when hosted), Vieux Carre, restaurants, clubs and everything else. Jazz Fest was always my favorite from the first time I went in the mid to late 70s I guess. I have not lived in NO for 20 years but Jazz Fest is something I definitely miss.
