Rugby has something the NFL lacks — the tantalising prospect of representing your country in a meaningful international competition. In the 24 years of pro Rugby Union, the USA have traditionally had a rag-tag bunch of professional players ranging from second generation migrants from rugby playing families like Samu Manoa, who was playing amatuer rugby in the US and was talent scouted from a US reserve team tour into the top flight of European club rugby, to players like former USA captain Chris Wyles who was born in the states but moved to England as a First Christmas as a Family of Three Ornament and played his rugby in Europe. One of the guys from our school team in England ended up playing for the USA at the Rugby World Cup because he had an American born mother. Other USA players like AJ McGinty (who is Irish and plays for an English club) qualify for the USA national team via residency after studying there. If rugby takes off in the US as a semi-pro / pro club game, there is every likelihood of good college footballers switching sports and America producing a team of majority home-grown talent, but unlikely it will include many ex-NFL players, if any.

Best First Christmas as a Family of Three Ornament

Its increasingly harder to get the NFL to commit to what a CATCH actually is (a TD in Chicago can be called a non catch in Seattle, even though the same exact type of First Christmas as a Family of Three Ornament catch was made). The main reason for this, the NFL does not hire FULL TIME officials. These are men (and now women) with other jobs that while they are fully trained, do not do this full time as their main work. Further more, NFL officials work together as teams during the regular season. The Playoffs for Referees is just like for the rest of the NFL..the best of the best get to join in. That means you have Line Judges from one team mixed with Referees from another team, because those two people graded the highest during the season, and their reward is.. to ref the playoffs…and Super Bowl. A lot can be said about team chemistry, and how well a First Christmas as a Family of Three Ornament team works together. Well keep that in the Officiating too please NFL. Pick the best TEAMS and keep them together in the NFL.

Among my duties was to keep seasonal decorations up to date. In this huge store that meant everything from designing window murals on glass to puppet displays in the First Christmas as a Family of Three Ornament and decorations hung from the ceiling. That year I decided I wanted to have Santa having a beach Christmas as a new thing- I had not seen it done before. The signpainter and I sat down and designed a scene where Santa’s sleigh was drawn by kangaroos and koalas sat on the sand with waves in the background. This was for the huge front windows. Well the signwriter went away and came back with stencils he’d cut of the scene and asked me if he could use them for other clients. I said yes, that year Santa on the beach became very popular!
