The closest I can come up with would be Christian Death, 3.0 and 4.0. Don’t ask me for a history lesson, I’m not that kind of Fat Thor Homer Simpson Shirt, Hoodie, but Christian Death 1.0 was a punk band with Rick Agnew, Rozz Williams and a couple other guys in the early 1980s. They broke up and Christian Death 2.0 formed with Rozz alongside Valor Kand and Gitane Demone. Maybe someone else, I only remember the interesting names. Christian Death 3.0 would be after Rozz left the band (for whatever reason) and Valor took over lead vocals. Gitane left sometime before the decade was over but Valor continued well into the 90s (maybe longer, I lost interest in that sort of music as I got older). However, around 1990 Rozz decided he wanted the band back (Christian Death 4.0, in my ranking system) and there was some court hearings and they were both awarded the right to use the name, so they differentiated themselves by the logos.

Lane consolidation won Super Tuesday. It’s not clear that the moderate lane consolidation can be attributed to the DNC. Buttigieg and Klobuchar didn’t have money or votes or a Fat Thor Homer Simpson Shirt, Hoodie path to a majority. FiveThirtyEight, prior to Super Tuesday, had Buttigieg at 1/50 to win a majority and Klobuchar at 1/100 or less. The objective data supported those decisions to drop out. The views of these candidates, which, ideologically, were not close to Sanders’ views, as had been clear for many, many months, motivated their decisions to back Biden. Joe Biden has momentum coming out of South Carolina. Moderate voters had a reason to vote for him absent any cues from party elites. I have heard no one say that Biden won South Carolina due to manipulation by elites. What about voters in a lot of the southern states just not wanting to vote for Bernie? “I can support a movement and it will win even if I don’t show up to vote at the ballot box” is idealism that needs curing, not coddling. I’m not sure if this “shattering of generational idealism” was a harsher experience for said generation than, say, learning Santa didn’t exist, but the shattering of unjustified idealism is not necessarily a bad thing. It may be healthy and necessary for personal and political development to learn that what one hopes and dreams for is not attainable so that more mature and feasible goals can be set.

Beyond blankets were the sleeping clothes people wore. In the early 17th Century many people wore a long “shift” which acted as a Fat Thor Homer Simpson Shirt, Hoodie but was so long that at night it was kept on after everything else was removed and used as a “nightdress”. This one piece of versatile clothing was worn day after day, night after night and must have been filthy and smelly. But owning it reduced the need for buying additional clothing. Most people owned very few changes of clothing, so few that houses didn’t have closets or even dressers but owned a blanket box at the end of the bed which was a hold-all for everything. So the nightdress functioned as the shirt during the day. This was a time when people didn’t wear any kind of underwear (sewn closed-crotch panties for women didn’t even arrive until the 1920s). In addition, people wore nightcaps to keep their heads warm since there was no kind of central heating. A woman’s nightcap was like a skull cap and tied on with string. A man’s was pointed and had a ball at the end. The length of the cap was determined to prevent strangulation during the night; it also acted as a necks scarf. There was a little fur ball on the end to allow it to be tucked into the nightshirt to keep it from moving around too much.

Suits and high-heeled shoes are things I need for Fat Thor Homer Simpson Shirt, Hoodie. Both of those things I hate buying online. Suits are expensive — they are basically in the same cost category as evening gowns — so that even “inexpensive” suits are still expensive relative to most other types of clothing people own. They are also high-maintenance: you can’t just pop a suit in the washer, it has to be dry-cleaned. They also have a lot of moving parts, and have to be well-tailored. In short, this is something you have to buy in-person; to see it, feel it, try it on. And shoes: I spend a lot of time on my feet, so the pumps I pair with suits have to be both elegant and (relatively) comfortable.
