Especially Minnesotans, who are stupidly loyal to their teams and also petty as hell with long memories. The only thing that fixes this is time or maybe winning it all (not that we’d know). If all big 4 are doing equally well (closest example is 2017), it’s Vikings and Twins over the other two. Both have been here since the early 60s. Granted, they’ve both been more successful long-term, but they’re institutions. The other two, Wolves and Wild, are expansion teams for relocated teams who haven’t done jack. None of this is to say the Wild are unpopular, they sold out 10 years straight. But it’ll be another decade or two and some real Cup runs before they get back to what the North Stars were to people here
