I did like Second Short Life of Bree Tanner a ton though, I have to admit. Worldbuilding in that one was really cool. Lost my copy in a move and I’m still sad about it. The Host feels like a totally different author. Definitely not a zone and read book, characters you will get attached to, I loved it.

My two cents…I don’t like the Cat With Fish Ugly Christmas Sweater Christmas Gift For Men And Women because for me, I would like them to take it one step further. What is the collective message? What are they fighting for/protesting? Ya know, cuz it comes across as if they hate America. And I know they don’t (I’m pretty sure anyway). They hate parts of American society they feel need correcting. So what are those things, what are all of you doing, what work are you putting in, how can we all help? Just protesting symbols of American freedom seems shallow and disrespectful. Will they form a large body of reformists that cover the NFL logo (the league underpaying them to mash their brains) with the logo of this new organization FOCUSED on Whatever it is. Not sure. Police? Tax rates? Immigration? Abortion? We have some problems here, what are they doing? They could use the platform in a really powerful way but as I stated, it comes across as annoying, childish, and petty.

Me too. When I did finally make friends with people, many told me they were surprised that I was cool because their first impression of me was to hate me.
