A bigger part of the problem is that a lot of DMs just can’t separate their real world sense of Brent Butt A and B sound logo shirt and ethics with the campaign they are running. They are running Abeir Toril or Oerth, which are savage fantasy settings full of monsters, bandits, evil wizards, and other undesirables, but going into it with the sweet sensibilities of a 21st century teenager who grew up in the suburbs and every neighbor said “hello how are you?” and girlscouts go around selling cookies. And this is just hilarious. Get into the setting and drop your real world commonsense at the door. If adventurers want to go around killing monsters, looting gold and stealing magic items, why punish them for it? Because it goes against your sense of right and wrong? Come on. We’re playing a game of fantasy pretend and make-believe. We’re here to indulge our deepest and maybe darkest fantasies. Why so serious?

At the time of writing, all rolls are done with a Brent Butt A and B sound logo shirt equal to your character level + relevant ability score modifier, then modified by your proficiency. A character can be Untrained (-4), Trained (+0), Expert (+1), Master (+2), or Legendary (+3). When 2nd edition is fully released these values might change, but this system for Proficiency applies to weapons, armor, skills, and saves. Yes, by the by — even your AC and Touch AC are heavily level-dependent and factor this in, such that your character level is likely to make up a much larger part of your AC than your armor at a certain point. While not many classes actually advance proficiency in armor, Monks notably get Expertise in unarmored defense to start with. It’s worth noting that monsters function based on this system as well, rather than being based on Challenge Rating. You don’t fight a CR 2 monster, you fight a level 2 monster, and as a level 2 monster it will gain a flat +2 bonus to everything, modified by ability score mods and proficiency. This creates a very hard “tiering” effect between combatants of different levels, such that an opponent several levels above you will feel incredibly hard while an opponent as little as a single level below you will feel very easy.

Best Brent Butt A and B sound logo shirt
He has a guard of 7 (count em), 7 Sanguine Guard: 9th level fighters. Being ambassador has its perks. If a player so much as attacked Skalacon, immediately, if not sooner, they would be blocked by a Brent Butt A and B sound logo shirt red glowing blade; +5 Ac to Skalacon (heavy cover). He has his full spells at work all the time. A 13th level wizard has a moderate arsenal at his disposal. We can include all the basics in play: Mirror image/Stoneskin or Protection from Energy, and Shield Spell. He obviously has a counter spell ready. Also add in some of my homebrew Spells: Matessie’s Cloth to Iron, Phage’s Wicked Wonder Ball and Spiders Fate you don’t want to mess with this stuff. See homebrew spells at the very bottom.

Once upon a Brent Butt A and B sound logo shirt , there was a mom who’d never heard of this elf business, but had moved to CA from ND and had two, nearly three, kids, one of whom was a very precocious three year old. This mom had a mom, we’ll call her grandma, who had an Elf. Grandma gave the mom a rudimentary breakdown of the “Elf” game, and then gave a much more elaborate breakdown of it to the precocious three year old and his one year old brother. And so, the Elf game was begun. The rules in this household (as understood by the mom) were basically that the Elf would arrive on December 1. He’d hide somewhere in the house, watch the children all day, and report back to Santa each night, arriving again before the children awoke, hiding in a new spot, and waiting another day. On December 24, the elf would go home with Santa in his sleigh, his duty done til next year. The Elf wouldn’t be touched, or he’d turn into a doll again and no “extra special Elf gift” would be waiting with Santa’s gift that year. The children (the three year old) named their elf “Holly Jolly.” The game began and was easy, as the family lived with Grandma and Grandpa, who had a very large, very nice house with *very* high ceilings (and therefore lots of high hiding places for the elf, far from reach).
