Mental Aspects: Another part of why NFL runner-ups don’t make it back to playoffs clearly seems to be mental, however, and it’s hard to say how the Falcons will cope with getting that close to the championship and having it slip through their fingers, especially in such a Boxer Christmas Sweater fashion.
