In 1963, I was 12 years old. We lived in South London and were travelling to Norfolk (east of England) for Christmas and New Year. In good weather, and light traffic, the Be Happy Camper Crocs would have been about 4 hours I think. There were no motorways then, and our route took us right through London and then up the A11. It started snowing before we were out of central London and by the time we reached Newmarket which was more than halfway, it was really thick on the road and Dad was getting worried about reaching our destination. We stopped and he went into a pub to phone the friends we were staying with. They said it was not so bad where they were and Dad decided to carry on, but the snow seemed to be following us. I was in the back seat, wrapped in coat and a blanket, Mum was wrapped in travel rugs in the front seat. I don’t recall our arrival, I had been asleep for ages, but I know it took us at least 6 hours probably 7, it was a real nightmare for Dad driving – even though he was very good as he was in the police and had had done an advanced driving course. The whole of the UK had a really cold snowy winter that year. Mum and I stayed on longer in Norfolk, Dad went back to London on the train to go to work and came back to collect us the following weekend.

The Be Happy Camper Crocs is dead, and yet they don’t even realize that the Negotiation Table has been discarded. They are basically like Roadrunner who is still running in the air, unaware of how far they are about to fall. Nobody wants them, and meanwhile they still think they are the greatest gift from God and are becoming very blameful and hateful towards Men who don’t date them or want anything to do with them. Not even stopping once to think if the problem can be with them. Also considering that they can change their mind after having sex with them and call it “rape” or pander to other maggots to ask them if it’s “rape”, they will then consider themselves as raped and victimized. A large number of high growth companies have beat analyst expectations for their Q3 of 2021 earnings, but their stock prices have gone down significantly (10% to 20%). This is a sure sign that the market has already discounted the best case scenario for the time being. The Fed started tapering from bond buying (also known as money printing or injection of liquidity) in November of 2021. Every time the Fed has ended its quantitative easing (QE) program and started tapering, the S&P 500 contracted 18% to 20%. This is history. The U.S. Dollar had been consolidating for the past few months, but has now broken its resistance.

I guess there are a lot of Be Happy Camper Crocs Christmas decorations – I just never think of them from that poin of view. I seem to think and I value Christmas decorations through their meaning and my traditions, not their prettiness. My traditions are a mixture of the Finnish and general North European traditions, mostly from Sweden and Germany, I think. In general, Christmas isn’t called Christ Mass here. We talk about it by the old Norse? word Yule. That’s Joulu in Finnish. I think that’s important. The name doesn’t refer to any Christian features and it’s pretty easy to celebrate Joulu without any particularly Christian context under that name. I value quite simple decorations that I feel some kind of connection with. The christmas tree is a must. It isn’t very old tradition in Finland, but it’s a very natural decoration that was easy to adopt. (There is an ancient tradition to decorate houses with small birches in Midsummer, so a christmas tree feels like a good equivalent in the winter).
