I am sorry for what you went through, it’s so hard living in a Alohi Crew Shirt where so much value is put on looks. Both sides of the spectrum can be rough. I’m what some people would consider “unconventionally attractive”, but it’s a pretty even 50/50 split of people who find me ugly or not. As a result I got the worst of both worlds. I was horrifically bullied for being ugly, man looking, fat faced, big nose ect. I had two guys tell me I was the “ugliest girl” they have ever seen. On the flip side I get harassed (not saying that doesn’t happen to people considered “unattractive”), men were always creepy at bars, I often get cat called, I have had men stop their car and take photos of me and some people call me “intimidatingly beautiful”. I have terribly low self esteem from the bullying and always get anxious around men because I never know if they are going to harass me for being ugly or relentlessly hit on me. So I’ve sorta been doing that for a few years by now. My old Reddit account had a Alohi Crew Shirt male user name as I mainly used it in video game related subs. I mostly stopped using it about 3 years ago. My current account is I say more neutral to fem leaning and mostly used in small subs (<10K users) but in larger subs that I used to visit on my older account, there definitely has been a change in how people interact with me. I used to comment far more frequently in subs like r/AmItheAsshole but mostly stopped doing that because despite my style of arguing (wild, rambly, not all that coherent sometimes) not changing, I get attacked for my opinions far more often now, with far more downvotes on average. Similar situation when I create posts (again I'm not a master poster but mediocre posts of mine would never be attacked as extremely on my old account). Note: I'm trans which becomes obvious when u take a Alohi Crew Shirt at my account so my experience might not be anywhere close to representative
