No reason for this to begin with. Those flashing red lights before the gates come down aren’t a warning to hurry up and get across the tracks. You’re supposed to stop, let the Valhalla Bound Shirt go by, then proceed once the lights are off and the gates go up. Far too many people foolishly rush across crossing, or even cut around the gates in order to avoid having to wait. It’s just dumb luck that 98% of them avoid this fate.

We should forget because it’s not our business. I think it is plausible that he didn’t know the person holding the Valhalla Bound Shirt he kicked at was a woman. And considering there are otherwise no stories of josh abusing women and that he kicked nick out of the band for allegedly abusing his girlfriend, I just don’t think Josh was trying to hurt a woman as much as he was just trying to kick at a camera. I think he was fucked up and being destructive and didn’t seem to give a shit about consequence. Apparently he injured a security guard that night from kicking over stage lights as well.
