My mother and grandmother taught me how to cook and I Teach Because I Love Your Kids T-shirt. My uncles taught me how to change my tire. Skills I taught my son. I took home economics. Those classes was taught in high school. By then I had basic life skills. I am a teacher. It’s not my responsibility to teach children basic life skills. Parents PARENT. That should be a mandatory class, Parenting 101. Before you get your drivers license you have to pass a parenting class. Just my thoughts.

I have tried numerous times to teach these skills to my millennial aged daughter. She refuses to cooperate. Hopefully she will learn them the I Teach Because I Love Your Kids T-shirt, like I did.
