When I was In grade school, they asked us to Stand up for science shirt on someone we looked up to. I chose jane goodall. I read one of her books when I was 8 and knew I wanted to be just like her. I received my degree In zoology and completed my senior thes Is research project on the conservation of a sensitive fish species. This woman Is Inspiring. I’ll be marching this 22 and I’ll raise your poster high and proud.

I am a high science teacher and am proud to say that I have had many of my former students enter scientific fields and come back to Stand up for science shirt that I was one of the people who inspired them to be a scientist. I was truly honored to hear her speak recently although I did not study science It did make me understand that Stand up for science shirt were Important In this field. Hard to explain my fascination with her as a child but am glad I had a strong connection with her. I also had a pass to meet and get her autograph but I saw a you girl crying at the end of the presentation and gave It to her. I hope she will always remember that.
