What a great article, definitely one of the best I have read on working moms! As a full time working mom of four, and Sorting a Stitch Shirt, I live the daily struggle of trying to remember work deadlines, library day, field trips, fundraisers, school functions, appointments, haircuts etc – without dropping any balls (doesn’t always happen). My favorite question from others is, “do you have help”?

I don’t know that this article really expresses the fact that some of us choose to work, and that we would be terrible mothers if we stayed home. I’ve done both, but when I wasn’t working, I found balance through grad school. When my 4th was born, I couldn’t stand the Sorting a Stitch Shirt. I’m the bread earner, I love my job, and I’ve never felt guilty about that.

No you don’t work it does not make us better or worst. There are those that have to work and it IS hard. They are not our enemies we are no better then them. They are our sisters. We support the decisions and circumstances of our sisters. I love Sorting a Stitch Shirt. Teach our children well. They are our hope/ future. Bless mother and the fathers that stand by their side.
