She’s still doing light jobs to keep her active. Despite this, she is making effort in preparing meals for us and ensuring food is there on table when we are home. I can’t love anyone more than her! As I spend time off with her at treatments or checkup or even daily routines, I will tease and make her laugh by being the ridiculous clown. All for her. I can’t believe if as time goes and she would have to leave, I can’t imagine how I will live after that. So for now, I’m spending all effort to hug, talk to her, apply medicated oil on her sore joints and tell her how I love her Everyday.

She used to be an active person, doing chores, running errands, attending to her kids and later on her grandkids, going out with friends and family and still finds time to do ballroom dancing. My Mom has always been a super woman. She has been married to my dad for close to 50 yrs, she raised 3 boys, 2 veterans and Proud mom of a 2020 senior shirt. She finished her college degree while my youngest brother finished his degree as well. She is the first and only woman to be appointed to the position of Town Administrator. After she FINALLY retires, my father was diagnosed with cancer. She took care of him night and day. Today my dad is cancer free. She is the strongest person I know.
