Pocket Pug Sweater

He following is what I wrote to apologize to Terry Tufts on his post about being booked at The Earl , but cant leave a comment since we are not linked  wise. I’ve sent of Pocket Pug Sweater with an apology, but wanted those who’ve commented on the post to know how I feel I’m not sure if some or all of you know this, but I have been acting as booker for the Earl over the last five months.

I began booking with the Earl because the owner, though on a budget was really keen to have some live music in his place on Fridays and Saturdays and I was keen to build it with him. While I have a lot of Pocket Pug Sweater as a performing artist in the area, this is my first bonafide attempt at running the booking for a venue that does not involve me playing all the shows. The venue did change the dates and the guarantee but as the booker I should have made known my apolgies at the inconvenience of it all and offered to honour the even if it came out of pocket.

I should have known better and wish I’d seen that more could have been done in that moment. It was never my intent to undervalue your music Terry, but I see how my actions make it so and want Pocket Pug Sweater to send you my deepest apologies. In short, I feel terrible and embarrassed for my mistake. Terry, I never meant to disrespect, only to stock these new local nights with great music and start something new with a venue that was keen. I hope to make it up to you somehow in the future.
