I have never been a huge pokemon fan, I havint played a main line game since dimand and Pikapool Pikachu Pokemon and Deadpool Nike Sweater and even then it didnt really keep me interested. However now that I own a switch, pokemon let’s go pikachu has given me a reason to try out the franchise again. What better way to get back into it then with a remake of the first game.

The battle system is fun, simple and effective but gets repetitive when fighting trainer after trainer in a row. The biggest thing here is the new catching system, styled after pokemon go you use a joy con and swing it wii remote style to catch a pokemon. This is pretty fun and works well until the pokemon starts to move left and right, then it’s just outright broken and Pikapool Pikachu Pokemon and Deadpool Nike Sweater. Playing in handheld using the gyroscope is the best way to catch pokemon and you will be doing allot of it because it’s the best way to level up.
