Well, Democrats decided to make another special election a “referendum against Trump”. They’ve done this with most of these since President Trump was elected. Quite often these elections have involved national Democratic organizations pouring vast sums of money into races in hopes of causing that “Ohio home state Shirt” we keep hearing about. Quite often, but not always, those sums have dwarfed the amounts spent by Republicans.

Ohio’s special election yesterday was another example of Ohio home state Shirt. Predictably, Democrats have already started calling their loss a “moral victory”. Not because of any particular morals involved, rather because they didn’t lose as badly as they could have. Well, keep hoping for that “blue wave” and we’ll hope that you keep racking up those “moral victories”…or as the rest of the world calls them, “losses”. We just hope that since you’ve decided to start re-defining losing elections that you’ll be gracious in “victory” and stop burning things down when you “win”.
