I know the feeling all to well. My son’s father is always in and out of Mom The Veteran The Myth The Legend Mother Shirt. It’s sad when my 6 year old says ” mom my dad hasn’t called or come to see me in a while, he must be back in jail” breaks my friggin heart every time. It’s sad that he doesn’t know how this affects his son emotionally and mentally because i have to deal with the anger he has afterwards and the not listening at school and the lashing out when he has a bad day. It is definitely hard to explain why this keeps happening but my response to all this is that his father makes choices in his life that aren’t good and the choices he makes lands him in jail. I wish one day his father could realise the pain he is actully causing his son and change because he isn’t getting any younger.
