Pray and go sit down is not an option. Had Jesus prayed and I am a Mama bear I will love and protect my children shirt, he would not have fulfilled his purpose. God expects more of us. What are we doing to alleviate suffering in the face of those in leadership who, obviously, have no concern for the greater good? There are times when I try with everything in me to remain silent. I try to temper myspeech. I ask God to speak to and through me. At the end of the day, the God that I love and serve expects that we would speak truth. That we would do justice. There is no truth or justice in the actions of a society that willallow a person who is verbalizing and demonstrating mental struggles to walk alone down a path that leads to the destruction of so many lives. We have witnessed the same pattern over and over and over.
