I am a part of the LGBT community, and I have spent my entire career as a student in a catholic school. The love, guidance, and care I have received, not only as a student, but as a person, has greatly outweighed any negative sentiment I have felt.

I personally know next to nothing about christianity or catholicism, I just think truly spiritual people should know that.

Discussing something and loving someone are not mutually exclusive. This LGBT Dabbing Leprechaun Irish Unicorn T shirt was a fairly tame debate, nobody called Leah names or condemned her to hell, people just simply disagreed with her assessment of religion. That disagreement does not mean they don’t love or accept leah.  I see no reason to be disappointed in christians for expressing an opinion.
