Knitting is not a made it’s a passion shirt

I knitted an entire blanket once, only about Knitting is not a made it’s a passion shirt short of finishing it. It was the only thing I ever knitted and I was really proud, it literally took me years. One day I was in the shop getting more yarn and this older lady was in the store asking the employees if they had any discounted yarn that had been damaged. They didn’t and she was not going to be able to afford the yarn she needed as she only had like 75 cents.

I gave her the blanket and said you need this Knitting is not a made it’s a passion shirt. If it took me 5 years to knit that thing I obviously wasn’t that interested in the patience it really took because I kept putting it down. She was really happy to have it and she started undoing it in the store. Not gonna lie it did kind of make me sad but it makes me happy to think how big her smile was when she realized she would now have enough yarn for whatever project she was working on.

I love when people provide for themselves. Ordinarilly people think that means having your income or growing your own food. But I have Knitting is not a made it’s a passion shirt, make our own cloathing, make our own valuable, and genrally just the whole idea of saying, oh wow, i’d really like that! and instead of buying, going ahead and making it for yourself. Abilility is something no one can take away from. Sometimes I make things all by myself just to proove I can. It’s very rewarding and requires a degree of respect.
