I didn’t get a press screening for this Just a girl who loves Chris Hemsworth shirt, so I went to see it on Saturday; I get to the theater and these 3 kids, two girls and a boy somewhere in the age range of 14-16 approached me, I guess they were waiting for a geeky old lady spending her Saturday night alone seeing a comic book themed movie, so they asked me if I would buy their tickets to Thor because the movie is rated R and they couldn’t get in without an adult. I thought, Why not? But did you know all the seats are reserved at the AMC theater on Broad Street?

So, because I’m now 4 people “supposedly” instead of Just a girl who loves Chris Hemsworth shirt, the only seats they had together were in the very front of the movie theater. “My Kids” assured me it’s now fine to sit at the very front because you just lay back to see the screen, so I went for it. But it’s still really close up, not that I minded being nose to nose withChris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston & Idris Elba, but it makes it really hard to eat one’s #CinemaSneaknSnack laying almost flat on your back. I nearly choked on my Chicken Fried Rice and made a greasy mess of one of my favorite shirts. The rest of my new found party seemed to enjoy the movie, although they left before the two post credit scenes, so I didn’t have achance to talk to them.

I read some fanboy reviews that Just a girl who loves Chris Hemsworth shirt. The more humorous take worked for me, it was very loose, not really funny, as much as stupid fun. Thank goodness Jane (Natalie Portman) dumped Thor back during Avengers: Age of Ultron, because she would not be a good match for this lighter, self-effacing Thor. I definitely saw him checking out the black Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) too bad there wasn’t time for that to become a romance, what with the prophesied destruction (aka Ragnarok) of his home planet Asgard by his newly discovered sister Hela (Cate Blanchette) and keeping one step of his always dangerously mischievous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and managing a befuddled Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) who had no idea he’djust spent 2 years as The Hulk.
