I have no issue at all with complimenting someone in an interview. I am also of the opinion that times were different then and things were SEEN as being acceptable that Because I’m The Freakin’ Redhead Of This House That’s Why T-shirt . This doesn’t mean they were right. What I find scary is that so many people can’t even see today, in hindsight that this interview was conducted in a very sexist way. They would never have made those comments, or spoken in that tone when interviewing a man and THAT is what is sad. That instead of complimenting her on a well fought campaign or on the issues she wishes to stand up for, he reduces the subject to her hair and the fact she is single.
